Ohio Trip

God started talking to us about Ohio in spring of 2006. Nothing specific – just kept bringing it up. In addition, He had talked to us about December 16th.

One day we “happened” upon a ministry website called Wings of Worship (WOW). We were interested because of a love of dyed/painted silk and we also noted that the ministry was located in Ohio.
In looking at the site, we “happened” to notice that WOW had an event planned just a few weeks away on 12/16! We began to pray and seek God’s face… feeling enough confirmation to tentatively move forward, we made contact with Kathy Kennedy Mills of WOW to see if we could join in with them. Kathy shared that they’d be doing an outreach in downtown Cincinnati that evening and that they were more than welcome to join.
The trip was beginning to take shape. Being so close to OH’s capitol – Columbus – we knew that was a must on our list of stops, and since we drove through IN’s capitol (Indianapolis) on the way – it was a definite possibility too. As we prayed about it – a circle of capitols came into focus. First Springfield, IL; then Indianapolis, IN; then Columbus, OH (followed by the Cincinnati outreach); and finally Frankfort, KY. The route shaped up like this:

1,195 miles later, two happily spent prayer warriors arrived back home in
St Louis. Thank You Jesus for a beautiful journey and awesome time spent with You!
