WOW (in awe of Him) – our gift to Kathy

WOW13 December 2006

Dear Kathy,

When I made this scarf, I didn’t know it was for you. Good thing too, I might have been a bit intimidated to make one for you with your talent and anointing! God is so kind 🙂

Here’s the story behind this scarf. First, it was dye-painted. Yellow in the center – representing His glory revealed and red on each end that was “flaming” towards the center representing consuming fire. However, when the scarf was done, it was not complete. He wanted it dyed again – this time steaming it in black (representing His presence). When it was done, it was complete.

As we looked at it all we could say was “Wow!” – which is the name of the scarf. There is a sense of being in awe of Him – His glory, His fire, His presence – all that is Him – for He is worthy of all praise. When it was complete, we knew this was our gift to you.

It’s been prayed over and anointed with a blend of oils: Cedar of Lebanon (representing strength) and Revelation (representing revelation of the Lord). It was rolled and tied in the bag. But then He had me do something curious – take it back out and iron it again – like it needed to be tested in the fire again – after the anointing.

The scripture that goes with the scarf is Psalm 47:

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth! He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. Selah

God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

We pray this blesses you!

Love from your sisters in Him
